Here at Paraffle we want to bring embroidery to as many people as possible.

We keep three blogs updated:

👩‍🏫 One for the basics.

🎬One for the stitches.

💡And one for inspiration.

Orange Tree Embroidery Pattern

Orange Tree Hand Embroidery Pattern - a DIY pattern for contemporary and modern embroidery.

This design was inspired by the work of May Morris - English artisan and lead embroiderer in her father William Morris' textile design company, Morris & Co.

This pattern is designed to fit an 8 inch hoop, but could be scaled up or down to match any size.

This is a PDF download only, so you will need to source fabric, embroidery thread, needles, an embroidery hoop, and dressmaker's carbon paper (all easy to find online and elsewhere if you don't have them at home already). Please make sure that you have a PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Acrobat), and access to a printer.

Feel free to email me if you have any other questions!

Lovely pattern

Another lovely pattern by Paraffle! They are so easy to order as they come direct in your mailbox and you can download them with all the explanations needed. The patterns are not too complicated but delicate and bring satisfaction to stitchers from different levels.

Orange tree pattern

A beautiful pattern, easy to stitch. I've used it on a navy tote bag where it really stands out.
